The “Payment Processing Services” program assists businesses with setting up Point of Sale Systems, Credit Card Processing Machines and low cost methods of accepting and processing credit cards. We have several approved vendors who will offer a no contract month to month payment processing services. Our pre-vetted processors include well known brands such as link, link and link.

Historically Underutilized Business Program (HUB)
The City of Tacoma’s Historically Underutilized Business Program (HUB) offers contracting opportunities and business management assistance to qualified small business contractors. For Tacoma certified contractors, HUB helps to level the playing field when it comes to having an opportunity to secure public works contracts. For prime contractors, HUB offers preapproved City of Tacoma certified HUB contractors who can help you meet the HUB goal for your project. For both the HUB certified subcontractor and the prime contractor, The HUB Program offers a Mentor/Protégé program where businesses can improve their management and administrative skills by partnering with more experienced contractors who share their knowledge and expertise.

Contracting with the Federal Government

The System for Award Management (SAM) is a Federal Government owned and operated free web site that consolidates the capabilities in CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. Future phases of SAM will add the capabilities of other systems used in Federal procurement and awards processes.
